Robotized system for the automatic shearing of pressed sheet metal

Innovative system specifically designed for the companies which manufacture and process pressed and unpressed sheet metal. The robot is able to center and recognize the metal profile to be processed through a special vision system which has been completely developed by R&D Department of Mbl Solutions. The robot handles the profile with extreme precision positioning it under any manual shearing machinery (both mechanical and hydraulic) which is commercially available. The metal sheet is picked up via suction cups made up of anti-halation material. The processing parameters, the coordinates and the final size of the objects to be sheared are ascribed by the operator on the touch screen control panel and directly transferred to the robot CNC that performs the process.
