Growing attention of foreign countries towards engineering Made in Italy. The sectors through the aid of mechatronics are getting great benefits in terms of production, turnover and innovation and becoming increasingly large

The attention is focused on the technology with the Italian brand by the Mediterranean countries, the countries of Eastern Europe, going towards Russia and Ukraine.

In order to step up exchanges and cooperation between Puglia, queen of mechatronics and mechanics, and these countries, the Department of International Affairs of the Apulian Region has organized an incoming mission of foreign operators of the machinery sector for the food industry belonging to the Mediterranean countries, the Balkans and Eastern Europe, as well as Russia and Ukraine, aimed at promoting technological cooperation and trade relations between foreign and Apulian companies.

Among the 20 companies included in the program and selected for the occasion, there will also MBL SOLUTIONS, located in Corato and particularly active in designing and manufacturing mechatronic and robotic systems applied to the field of food. The mission, organized in collaboration with the Production District of Apulian Mechanics, with the operational support of ICE – agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of the Italian businesses and “Puglia Sviluppo SpA”, will comprise the following events:

– Presentation workshop of the engineering industry, with focus on the machinery sector for the food industry, through the intervention of experts, will deepen the market opportunities and features present in the Balkans, Europe and the Mediterranean countries for the Apulian operators of the sectors of machinery for the food industry;

– Sessions of business-to-business

– Guided company visits, after verification of the interest expressed by foreign operators.

In addition, the incoming mission will develop a stage of works in Milan at the EXPO 2015. On that occasion, the Department of International Affairs – in collaboration with the trade associations FederUnacoma (National Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers), Federalimentari, Anima (Federation of national Associations of various Mechanical and Engineering Industries) and Assofoodtech – will organize meetings and visits to the Pavilion “ITALY “ of Federalimentari “Cibus is Italy.”

The initiative is part of the extraordinary project of promoting “System Puglia”, called “EXPOrtando Puglia”,that the Department of International Affairs has realized during the Universal Exhibition in Milan (EXPO 2015), aimed at the promotion of the main productive sectors, active in local areas related to the themes of EXPO 2015.

“In my opinion the prospects that are emerging – explains the director of MBL SOLUTIONS -Eng. Luigi Maldera – are encouraging and challenging for companies in our region. In Apulia we are finally building a “true” supply chain in agribusiness and the number of engineering companies operating in the sector are growing more and more every year.

MBL Solutions began this difficult path since 2008 and is now ready to provide in Italy and the world its know-how in packaging, providing mechatronics solutions tailored not only in automating the process of secondary packaging and end of line but especially in designing and implementing innovative machinery designed on real customer needs. In the last three years we have focused our efforts and our investments on the application of humanoid robotics in the production process of the agricultural sector, through the integration of bionic limbs , able to manipulate, safely and in collaboration with the workers of the company, products with the sensitivity of a human hand. The objective remains that to increase the profitability of enterprises to make them more solid and competitive in Italy and abroad.

Meanwhile the final lists of the so called “Regional Technological Cluster”have been published,project initiated by the Apulian region at the beginning of 2015: a challenge for the Apulian business world that will provide 30 million euro through which will be funded 19 projects that have qualified for industrial research and experimental development proposed by groupings.

The project presented by group of companies in which the Mbl Solutions is the leader entitled “PERFORM TECH – APULIA EMERGING FOOD TECHNOLOGY – Food security through the use of emerging technologies for the development of functional products, recovery of nutraceutical substances by by-products and  energy valorization  of waste – is aimed at overcoming current technologies that characterize the Apulian food industry through the implementation of integrated technological chains.
